Three things people usually ask.

    Windows says it protected your PC

    Early-access builds aren't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen warns about them. Click More info, then Run anyway. To check the file first, compare its SHA-256 with the one listed here.

    Make it your default PDF app

    Right-click a PDF, choose Open with, pick Minimal PDF and tick Always. You can also open Default apps settings and choose it for .pdf.

  3. 03

    Uninstall

    Settings, then Apps, then Installed apps, then Minimal PDF. The portable build is one file; delete it. Neither leaves settings behind, because there aren't any.

Package managers. winget, Scoop and Chocolatey packages follow the first public release. New winget packages take a week or two to be reviewed.
